Proceedings of Meetings of Executive Committe for ensuring compliance to Hon'ble NGT order dated 07.08.2018 in the matter of O.A. No. 138/2016 and O.A. No. 139/2016

The mandate of the committee is:

  • The Committee will be entitled to issue appropriate directions to the concerned authorities to ensure compliance with the orders of the Tribunal.
  • The target of the committee will be to restore the standards of water in the river to the prescribed level.
  • The Committee may carry out personal visits, if necessary, or call for information or reports.
  • The sampling of groundwater may also be done apart from the sampling of river water periodically.
